Complete Utility Contractors is excited to share that we’ve been awarded a new sanitary sewer infrastructure project on 72nd Street in Tilbury (Delta) for the City of Delta.
The project involves extending a 700 mm HDPE DR17 sanitary force main by approximately one kilometre, tying into existing infrastructure near 68 Avenue and 72 Street. In addition to the pipeline installation, the work includes supplying and installing air valves and cleanouts with cathodic protection, open-cut construction, dewatering and groundwater treatment, and full road restoration at the intersection of 72nd Street and 68th Avenue.
This is a technically demanding project, with deep services, varying soil conditions, and high groundwater levels adding to the complexity. Careful planning and environmental management will be key, and all work will be completed in accordance with the City of Delta's Environmental Management Plan. As always, safety, environmental protection, and quality workmanship will be top priorities for our team.
This project highlights CUC's experience with complex, large-diameter underground utility installations and our continued commitment to supporting critical infrastructure improvements in Delta's growing communities.
