CUC designs & installs another PRV system for upscale Burfield residential project in West Vancouver. Located in the Mulgrave area of the British properties, West Vancouver, this project required Complete Utility Contractors to supply and install a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) for a watermain servicing a new apartment complex. The project features a pre-cast concrete building, custom stainless steel pipe work and control systems.

CUC Designs and Builds Stormwater Diversion Structures Unique to Westmount Creek Area

Each weighing over 38,000 lbs, total of five custom-precast concrete intake structures for storm water redirection are being installed within close proximity of Highway 1. These intakes will help divert high flows from Westmount Creek during heavy rain events. The excess flows will be diverted into a 1800mm pipe that terminates at an outfall located at the ocean. This is to help prevent flooding of downstream areas.

BEFORE and AFTER: Cypress Bowl Road Earthworks and Site Servicing in West Vancouver

Complete Utility Contractors successfully completes the Cypress Bowl Road site servicing project. The Cypress Bowl Road widening and site servicing project consisted of preparing a section of Cypress Bowl Road for future development. The road was widened to accommodate a right hand turn lane as well as a utility corridor. Road widening included the placement of thousands of tonnes of material as well as construction of a 140m long retaining wall. A number of utility installations were required for future servicing including a 600m long watermain, 700m of joint trench communications conduits and 100m of sewer works. The site was finished with highway spec asphalt, decorative columns, concrete sidewalks and street lighting.

Rock Blasting for Underground Utility Construction in West Vancouver / Hwy 1

Complete Utility Contractors is installing a 1500mm diameter storm main through solid bedrock along side of Highway 1 in West Vancouver. The crew is blasting 3 times per day in order to clear the path for the newly installed storm main. Each blast requires rolling closure of the highway and co – ordination with the Ministry of Transportation.
