This August, our crews will begin work on a watermain replacement project along East 2nd Avenue, between St. Georges Avenue and St. Andrews Avenue, helping strengthen the City of North Vancouver's underground infrastructure for years to come.
The project involves installing approximately 240 metres of new 300 mm (12-inch) ductile iron watermain, replacing the existing 200 mm (8-inch) cast iron main. The larger, modern pipe will improve water system capacity, reliability, and long-term performance while ensuring the network is better equipped to serve the community into the future.
Construction is expected to begin in mid-August and take approximately four weeks to complete.
We're excited to get our crews on site and deliver another safe, efficient, and high-quality infrastructure project that will benefit North Vancouver residents for decades to come.
