At our current sanitary upgrades project in West Vancouver, the unsung heroes keeping everything running smoothly aren’t just the pipelayers — it’s our exceptional traffic management team that has truly stood out.
The job site at 3rd Street and Mathers Avenue presents unique logistical challenges. These are narrow, shoulderless streets bordered by large trees and overhanging power lines, leaving little maneuvering room for heavy machinery. On top of that, the city mandated that local traffic must continue flowing with minimal interruption. Enter our traffic control team — and what a phenomenal job they've done.
From day one, our traffic management crew, led by Richard Des Ormeaux and Rayne Sodaro, have gone above and beyond. Through strategic planning, constant communication, and expert on-the-ground execution, they've not only kept traffic moving but also won praise from numerous local residents for minimizing disruptions.
